From Blueprint to Finished Product
Full-service metal manufacturing under one roof. Three generations of family craftsmanship, from concept and prototype to production, finishing, and delivery.
Why T&D
We handle everything from initial design consultation and prototype development through full-scale production, painting, assembly, packaging, and freight. One relationship. Zero handoffs. No gaps in quality or accountability.
Design, prototype, fabricate, finish, and ship — all in-house. We eliminate the risk and delays that come from coordinating multiple vendors.
From 5-part prototypes to million-unit production runs. Our 2,000-ton press capacity and precision tooling deliver tolerances that exceed spec, every time.
Three generations of craftsmanship mean your deadline is personal to us. We treat every customer’s urgency as our own — because our reputation depends on it.

Komatsu needed a partner who could take a complex structural assembly from design collaboration through high-volume production, with exacting tolerances and an ironclad delivery schedule. T&D’s in-house tooling, stamping, and welding capabilities made us the natural fit. We collaborated on design optimization to reduce material cost while maintaining structural integrity, then scaled to full production runs without a single line interruption.
- On-Time — Delivery, every run
- Cost Reduced — Through design collaboration
- Single Source — Design through delivery
- Ongoing — Multi-year partnership

Our Story
Three Generations. One Promise.
Founded in Watseka, Illinois in 1951, T&D Metal Products has grown from a small family shop into a full-service manufacturing facility, without ever losing sight of what matters: people, craftsmanship, and doing right by the customer. Through downturns, recessions, and industry shifts, we’ve stayed rooted in our community and committed to our clients.
Today, the third generation of our family leads a team of 120+ dedicated craftspeople across 135,000 square feet of modern manufacturing. That family culture shows in everything, from how we pick up the phone to how we handle a tight deadline.
